You’ve got the perfect partner, you’ve got the ring, you’ve got the dress, I can’t help you with any of these but can definitely take you from here to “Just Married”

Whether it will be just the two of you and your witnesses on a beach at sunset or dinner for 100 of your family and friends there’s a few basics to start wth.

Let’s meet, zoom or call each other to discuss what you want your marriage ceremony to be and if you think I am the right celebrant for you.

Some things to consider before we do.

• Are you both on the same page, or even the same chapter about what you want your wedding to be? Most couples want a simple, relaxed ceremony but with a definite sense of occasion and I think this is the perfect combination.

• What do you want it to look like? Sound like? Feel like? Who do you want to be involved?

• What is your story and what do you want to share?

• The actual ceremony is not something you need to stress about. It is my job to pull all your ideas and words together to create the perfect ceremony for you. I start off by talking with, and listening to you. I give you some ceremony ideas for you to get a feel for what you do and don’t want. I then take all your ideas and suggestions and prepare a draft and then we work together to create a final version. You can have as much input as you want along the way.

Pre Wedding Paperwork

• Paperwork is boring, so let’s get it out of the way so we can focus on the more enjoyable aspects of planning a ceremony.

• If you are over 18 and if you are not already married to someone else then go straight to the Notice of Intended Marriage

• You need to complete this form. This is all the paperwork required before your wedding so isn’t too onerous.

• Your celebrant will also need to see evidence of your date and place of birth and photographic id.

• Once the form is witnessed and in your celebrants hands or inbox, you can get married at any time after one month.
